The Historic Sites Association has renamed its Heritage and History Book Award in honour of Edward Roberts QC. The Honourable Edward Roberts History Book Award celebrates Roberts’ contribution to the study of the history of Newfoundland and Labrador.
The winner, to be announced next month at the Sheraton in St. John’s, will receive a prize of $500.
Edward Roberts was a lawyer, cabinet minister and Lieutenant Governor of the province. The award recognizes Edward Roberts the historian.
