The brand new Dr. Hilda Tremblett Wellness Centre in Bonavista has officially opened.
The centre provides access to primary healthcare services, public health, home and community supports, and mental health and addictions services.
The site provides services that were previously offered at the Hayley Building on Confederation Drive and the Public Health Nursing Office on Church Hill.
People with scheduled appointments this week have been notified of the change.
The new facility is open weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
