Independent MHA Eddie Joyce has resolved his latest dispute with the Commissioner for Legislative Standards Bruce Chaulk.
The House formally heard Wednesday that Joyce has supplied additional financial paperwork that Chaulk was looking for.
It’s part of conflict of interest rules that require MHAs to provide financial disclosure yearly.
Joyce had initially said he provided all necessary information, but that was challenged by Chaulk who said he needed more.
In the end, an arbitrator intervened to help resolve the dispute, with Joyce providing some additional info and avoiding possible suspension from the House.
Joyce is still suing Chaulk and three other MHAs, including former Premier Dwight Ball, over the handling of bullying and harassment allegations against him.
He was later cleared but found to have inappropriately lobbied a minister to hire a friend.
