The city of St. John’s is still in the process of finalizing the site for a new fire station in the Goulds.
The city devised a plan two and a half years ago to transition the Goulds fire station from a volunteer service to a full-time station within three to five years. As part of the process, a new fire station will be built.
According to the city, the site acquisition process has not yet been finalized for the new station. Once that process is complete, a formal announcement will be made about the project.
