Construction of a “pump track” on the grounds of Quidi Vidi Park has been delayed.
The work was to have begun this week but it will now be put off until August after the Royal St. John’s Regatta.
The city had to revise the start of construction for the recreational pump track to accommodate the scope of work. It’s located in the green space near the existing dog park, walking trail and parking area, and is expected to be completed in the fall.
Pump tracks are suitable for scooters, skateboards and wheelchairs.
