Fire crews and a water bomber had to be called in to battle a brush fire in Carbonear.
Late yesterday afternoon, Carbonear Volunteer Fire Department battled a significant blaze that had broken out in the Flatrock area.
No official word on injuries has been release, however a caller to the VOCM Newsroom says at least one cabin was lost in the blaze.
