It looks like a trial project which saw a pedestrian-only zone in Quidi Vidi Village last year will be repeated this year.

The project ran for six weeks in 2021.

The city assessed the unique experience through a public engagement process, saying the reaction has been positive.

Mayor Danny Breen says the dates this year would coincide with the Downtown Pedestrian Mall from June 30 to September 5.
