Satisfaction with the provincial government has declined over the past three months according to a new political poll.
The latest Narrative Research survey showed that just one-half of NL residents asked express satisfaction with the Liberal government led by Premier Andrew Furey.
Voting intentions however remain stable. The Liberals continue to garner strong voter support at 48 per cent, that’s compared to 49 per cent in February.
Meanwhile, preference for the PC Part remains stable at 32 per cent, unchanged from February.
The NDP has seen a slight increase in support at 17 per cent over 15 per cent three months ago.
Premier Andrew Furey remains the most preferred candidate for premier at 40 per cent over 22 per cent for PC Leader David Brazil.
The survey of 400 adult NL residents was conducted by phone between May 5 and 24, with the overall results accurate to within plus or minus 4.9 percentage points 95 out of 100 times.
