Emergency services at the Dr. William H. Newhook Community Health Centre in Whitbourne will be closed next week.
Services will be suspended from 8 a.m. on Monday, June 27 until 4 p.m. on Friday, July 1, due to what Eastern Health is calling “human resources challenges.”
The health authority says patients requiring emergency services should call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room in Carbonear, Placentia or St. John’s.
