Muslims in Newfoundland and Labrador are joining others from around the world tomorrow in celebrating Eid Al Adha, one of the holiest occasions on the Muslim calendar.
The Festival of Sacrifice begins tomorrow morning at 8:00 with a prayer service at the Techniplex in Pleasantville in St. John’s.
The Muslim Association of Newfoundland and Labrador is anticipating some 1,000 people to attend the prayer service—one of the largest religious gatherings since the pandemic began.
A children’s event will follow on Sunday at the Techniplex from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m.
