A 43-year-old Marystown man is facing numerous drugs and firearms-related offences after he was found to have stolen property in plain view at his home.
Police arrested Joseph Strickland Thursday following a report of stolen property.
They say the described item was found in plain view on Strickland’s property. When he was arrested, he was in possession of a prohibited weapon and $3,500 cash.
The next day, police searched Strickland’s home and seized a quantity of cocaine, a large amount of illicit cannabis, ammunition, and other items consistent with drug trafficking.
Strickland is currently on an order prohibiting him from being in possession of firearms, ammunition, and weapons.
He had a bail hearing yesterday and was held until today for a decision.
