The search is underway for a wanted man on the Bonavista Peninsula.
An arrest warrant has been issued for 39-year-old Jason Howard Little of Upper Amherst Cove, who is wanted on charges of assaulting an officer with a weapon, mischief and possession of property obtained by crime. Police say he is actively evading them.
Little is described as five feet, seven inches, and 155 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. His head and beard may be shaved. Photos can be seen at VOCM.com.
Little is considered to be violent and the public is asked not to approach him if spotted.
Anyone who sees Jason Little or has information about his whereabouts is asked to contact Bonavista RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
