A local businessman is offering up office space, for free, to help people with disabilities get ahead.

Tom Badcock is the executive director of The Hub in downtown St. John’s, which offers services to people with disabilities, as well as printing and catering services to the general public.

Badcock says he has about 800 square feet of office space that he is willing to let a business start-up use for free, as long as they meet certain requirements.

He says to use the space a person must have a proper business plan and have a disability or be willing to hire people who do.
