Fuel prices are at about the lowest that Newfoundland and Labrador will see for some time according to an analyst.
Prices went up slightly for gas but jumped by between 3.5 and 4 cents for diesel and heating fuels.
Dan McTeague, President of Canadians for Affordable Energy, says cuts in production by OPEC next week will have a big impact on price.
He expects prices for all types of fuel to increase next week.
The rest of Canada is already seeing steep increases.
Prices in Toronto, for example, are up today by about 7 cents a litre, while Western Canada jumped by close to 20 cents. In Vancouver, gasoline will cost about $2.40 a litre tomorrow.
