Applications are now open for the Arts and Letters Awards Program.
The program was launched in 1952 and encourages the creation of new works of art by artists in the province.
Each year, the province awards 60 winners for original works in visual art, literacy, French literacy, music, and media arts categories.
All entrants receive a written adjudication and winners will receive $1,000 dollars for the senior awards, $350 dollars for junior awards, and $2,500 dollars for the Percy Janes First Novel Award.
The deadline for submissions is November 18.
Those looking to submit an application can do so on the government’s website.
