Director of development and communications, Christina Morgan, says the Renouf family of Cape St. George experienced a crisis when their 3-year-old son, Ryder, was diagnosed with leukemia.
Morgan says Ryder’s treatments will go into 2023 and possibly 2024.
Mom Ashley Renouf says they have been at Ronald McDonald House for 174 nights, which makes it much easier to support Ryder.
The top fundraiser for 2022 is Emma King of Victoria who made her steps count for families in September, raising over $10,000 dollars in her community through donations and a large recycling effort. That brings her three-year total to $25,000 dollars raised.
