Christmas decorations are already lining store shelves even though daytime temperatures are still in the double digits, and some people might be contemplating taking the lawn mower to their grass again.
A new survey from the Retail Council of Canada shows that many shoppers intend to spend the same this holiday season as they did last year.
That’s good news says Jim Cormier, Vice President Atlantic with the Retail Council of Canada.
He says past surveys gauging shopper intentions have proven to be correct, and that’s good news for bricks and mortar stores that are looking forward to a busy holiday shopping season.
