Members of the PC caucus say they’re open to a more collaborative approach in the coming legislative sitting.
PC Leader Ches Crosbie came out swinging on election night, vowing to take down the Liberal minority government, but the party’s stand has softened since then.
PC MHA David Brazil says he sees opportunities for greater collaboration in the current minority government situation. He says the House of Assembly has already struck an All Party Committee on a piece of legislation concerning insurance as a pilot to see if it will work.
He says if that works well, he expects that there will be a more collaborative effort in debates and the issues facing the province.
Tory MHA for Topsail-Paradise, Paul Dinn, says he thinks collaboration in a minority government is better for everyone.
He sees it as an opportunity.
