Former Mount Pearl Mayor and a long-time former MHA, Steve Kent is taking a temporary leave of absence from his position as Mount Pearl city manager.
Kent took to social media to say he’s taking a “leave of absence” to “deal with a personal matter.”
He says he loves his family and loves his community but to take care of both, he needs to look after himself.
He assures that he is fine, and his family is great and expects to be “fully back in action soon.”
The minutes show that Kent arrived late for the September 17 council meeting. The minutes for the October 1 council meeting have not yet been posted.
