The deadline to apply for the Home Heating Subsidy is near. Eligible residents who use oil to heat the home and do not exceed the income threshold qualify for a maximum payment of $500.

Eligible individuals or families must apply for the supplement and provide furnace or stove oil invoices for the period from October 1, 2021 to November 30, 2022 in the name and address of the applicant or the applicant’s spouse or common law partner.

Only one person per household may apply for the supplement. The deadline for submitting applications is November 30.
