The Trans Canada Highway at Birchy Narrows is now open.
The road was closed due to a collision involving three transport trucks jackknifed across the road.

The accident occurred around 7:00 a.m. this morning. There is no word on injuries at this time.
A number of packages were scattered across the roadway due to the collision.

The Trans Canada Highway at Birchy Narrows will be closed for the next few hours due to a collision involving three semi trucks that have jackknifed across the road.
The accident occurred around 7:00 this morning. There is no immediate word on possible injuries.
Road conditions in the area are very slippery with ice patches. Drivers are asked to avoid travel at this time as the highway near Birchy Narrows.
