Today is the sixth anniversary of a missing person’s case that has haunted the Northern Peninsula.
The RCMP say they are continuing their investigation into the unexplained and suspicious disappearance of Jennifer Hillier Penney, last seen at a home on Husky Drive in St. Anthony on November 30, 2016.
Police believe there are people with information that could help in the investigation and no information should be considered minor or insignificant.
RCMP say they recognize how difficult the loss is for the family and friends of Jennifer Hillier Penney and the residents of St. Anthony and surrounding area, and they are working to get answers and closure for loved ones.
A memorial was held in St. Anthony on the weekend to mark the anniversary of her disappearance.
Police say the investigation remains open and active, and all tips and new information are being pursued.
