The English School District is knocking down rumours of a possible early start to the Christmas school break.
A spike in respiratory illness in the community is leading some to speculate that schools will shut down early heading into the holidays, but the school district says that possibility has not even been discussed.
The district says the last day of school before Christmas is Wednesday, December 21, and there are no plans to close sooner.
