A 36-year-old man is without his vehicle after a near-miss with police early this morning.

Officers stopped a vehicle in the east end of St. John’s around 1 a.m. after the driver of that vehicle left a parking lot and almost collided with police.

The 36-year-old was given the “Approved Screening Device” but refused. He was then arrested for refusal to comply and released to appear in court at a later date.

The vehicle was towed.
