For the most part, fuel prices have been dropping the past while but an analyst expects that trend to reverse itself.
Gas and diesel went down by modest amounts today but Dan McTeague, President of Canadians for Affordable Energy, believes the party is over.
He thinks the P.U.B. will break in over the next few days and hike the price of gas and diesel by as much as five cents per litre, and it’s not likely to end there.
McTeague says the reality is that the price of both West Texas Intermediate and Brent Crude are going back up and that’s going to make for an expensive January and February.
However, he doesn’t seen any significant change in the price of home heating fuel over the few weeks.
