A hunger for late-night munchies has led to an impaired charge on a driver at a fast food restaurant drive-thru in the west end of St. John’s.
The 29-year-old man made his way into the line just before 4:00 this morning but somebody alerted the RNC. They charged him with impaired driving after a brief investigation.
The man lost his licence and the vehicle has been impounded. He was released to appear in court at a later date.
