The provincial government has established an advisory committee to provide advice on health care infrastructure on the northeast Avalon.

The Health Care Infrastructure Advisory Committee will provide guidance in an effort to meet existing and projected health care infrastructure needs in the region.

The committee will also look at the best locations for clinical services in the region.

The committee, chaired by Dr. Pat Parfrey, includes members who have experience and expertise in acute care, long-term care, mental health and addictions ambulatory care and community-based services.
