The Churchill Falls Generating Station says a controlled water release at the Jacopie Spillway has now ended, but members of the public are still being asked to avoid several areas.
That’s because water levels may continue to fluctuate and are always unpredictable.
The areas people are being asked to avoid are the Jacopie and Watefish Spillways, the Churchill River bed downstream of the Jacopie Spillway, and the east and west forebay water storage areas located north of Churchill falls.
