The Mayor of Paradise says a high school is still needed to help grow the community.
As Paradise Intermediate completes its first full year around the sun, the town is once again looking to the Department of Education for a high school solely dedicated for teens in Paradise.
Mayor Dan Bobbett, who has long called for such a facility, says it’s a missing piece in the town.
He says it is part of building a community, as children would be educated entirely in Paradise through all levels of the K-12 system.
