A man is in custody after an incident at a hospital in St. John’s. RNC officers were at the hospital on another matter when the 31-year-old, who was known to them, became verbally abusive with them. He had already been mouthing off at hospital staff.

The man has been charged with causing a disturbance and uttering threats.

He spent the night in the lockup for a court appearance today.
