Eastern Health is asking the public to familiarize themselves with signs of a possible overdose.
The holiday season can be difficult for people who are recovering or struggling with addictions.
Some symptoms of overdose include pale skin, blue lips, shallow breathing and difficulty walking.
In case of an overdose, a naloxone kit should be administered and you should call 911.
