The City of Corner Brook is reminding residents of some rules and regulations in effect as we ring in the new year tonight.
They say that household fireworks may only be set off between the hours of 6:00 and 9:00 p.m., or between 11:00 p.m. and 1:00 a.m.
Setting off fireworks outside those times is prohibited.
As well, they say that while the on-street parking ban is in effect, it will be lifted for tonight. However, all vehicles must be removed by 1:00 a.m.
