The Newfoundland Pony Heritage Park in Hopeall, Trinity Bay saw a large number of visitors this summer and the local pony society is hoping to build on that success in the year ahead.
Councillor at Large with the Newfoundland Pony Society, Libby Carew says the park, which officially opening in July, saw some 700 visitors and now that they’ve shifted into the second phase of their fundraising campaign, they’re hoping to expand on that in the coming year.
The pony park is located in the Dildo/New Harbour area with growing tourism potential.
