The President of the Registered Nurses Union says it’s going to take time to get the province out of the health care crisis it’s now facing.
The province has approximately 700 nursing vacancies, with some 300 RNs having left full-time positions in the first 10 months of 2022.
Yvette Coffey says it’s not going to be an easy solution, and will require everyone pulling on the same oar.
It’s going to take a lot of initiatives and willingness on the part of government and employers says Coffey.
