The deadline for indigenous groups and members of the public to apply for funding to participate in a regional assessment of offshore wind development is just over a week away.
The federal government will be doing the assessments in this province and in Nova Scotia, with the goal of informing future project specific impact assessments and decisions for such projects in those areas.
They will consist of meetings, advisory groups, and other engagement opportunities.
