The RNC will make a presentation today to members of the Downtown Safety Coalition regarding issues related to aggression and violence in downtown St. John’s.
The coalition was formed following meetings last summer, and involves numerous stakeholders.
Musicians in particular have been vocal recently about an increase in aggressive behavior, with some not feeling safe when leaving gigs.
The meeting is taking place at RNC headquarters in St. John’s, however members of the coalition will have the opportunity to attend in person or virtually.
