A 22-year-old Fogo Island man was arrested for impaired operation of an ATV on the weekend.
Police noticed a man, who was not wearing a helmet, operating an ATV on Saturday evening. Officers pulled the machine over and observed signs of impairment.
The driver was arrested and taken to the local detachment where he provided breath samples over the legal limit. His license was suspended and he was released to appear in court at a later date.
