Emergency services will be inconsistent in Bonavista over the weekend and into next week.
The ER at the Bonavista Peninsula Health Centre will be closed today and tomorrow, before reopening on Sunday. On Monday the services will shift virtually, and reopen for in-person physician services on Tuesday.
The changes are do to staffing shortages.
At times where the ER is closed, patients are asked to go to the nearest open emergency department.
