The public has until February 10 to be heard during the first phase of the Public Utilities Board review of fuel pricing.
The province asked the PUB last year to carry out the review to determine if the current process is working, or suitable, and to hold a public hearing to “inform” their work.
It’s all part of the government’s stated move last year to increase transparency of fuel costs in the province.
Yesterday, the PUB released a consultation document and invitation for the public to participate.
The review itself will take place in three phases, with the public able to provide comments during each one.
More information, including reports already filed, as well as how to participate, can be found on the Board’s website.
