School staff had to call in RCMP yesterday to assist in an incident at Roncalli Central High in Avondale.
The school board says staff assessed that there was no immediate need to engage its secure school protocol and at no time was student or public safety at risk.
The school worked with RCMP to ensure that all involved in the situation were appropriately supported, and normal operations resumed following the incident.
The school district will not release any further information citing its obligations under privacy legislation but RCMP say the matter was resolved.
