The mayor of Conception Bay South sees the town’s new library as a regional facility and, as such, he welcomes patrons from surrounding communities.
The 8,000 sq. ft. library opened its doors to the public yesterday, replacing the aging and tiny library in Manuels.
Mayor Darrin Bent says they made due with the previous building but the new library offers a lot more in the way of services, comfort and facilities.
Membership at the CBS Library has grown overt the years to almost 10,000 and he expects it to continue growing.
