Emergency services are unavailable at two Eastern Health facilities for an extended period of time.

Starting today, the ER at the U.S. Memorial Health Centre in St. Lawrence will be closed for two weeks, reopening on February 13.

Also starting today, the Dr. William H. Newhook Community Health Centre in Whitbourne will be closed for the week, reopening on February 6.

Both are closed due to staffing shortages.
