The Newfoundland Rogues dropped a pair of close games to the defending champs.
The team fell to the London Lightning on Friday and Saturday night, losing Saturday’s game by only four points. Rogues leading scorer Armani Chaney had a stellar night, scoring 41 points despite fighting an injury.
The team will now hit the road in Ontario, taking on Windsor and Sudbury for the first time, as well as a rematch in London.
The Rogues are now 2-3 on the season.
