All eyes will be on health care this week as Premiers from across the country, including Andrew Furey, converge in Ottawa to meet with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
The meeting of the premiers begins later today, while talks with the PM are set to take place tomorrow.
Those discussions will be around a new deal for health care funding, a hot topic considering the strain health care systems across the country are battling.
Specifically, the premiers say they are looking for funding through the Canada Health Transfer to increase to 35 per cent from 22, and for that level of funding to be maintained over time.
