One of two people arrested in a drug and weapons bust in Clarenville on Tuesday has been released on conditions.
Richard Foss, 44, and Marie Strong, 36, were arrested after police raided a home on Gregory Street and seized cocaine, crack cocaine, oxycodone pills, drug trafficking paraphernalia, cash, a crossbow, arrows, an imitation handgun and shotgun rounds.
Both appeared in Clarenville provincial court yesterday, with Strong being released on numerous conditions. She’s due back in court on March 2.
Foss, meanwhile, was remanded in custody for a bail hearing later this afternoon.
He’s charged with drug trafficking, weapons offences and breaking conditions of his previous release from custody, while Strong is charged with drug trafficking.
