A 39-year-old Bonavista woman is facing a drug trafficking charge following the search of a home in the town last night.

RCMP entered the home on Red Point Road and seized a quantity of cocaine, crack cocaine, cash and various items consistent with drug trafficking.

Crystal Stagg is scheduled to appear in court today on a charge of possession for the purpose of trafficking in cocaine.

The investigation continues.
