Memorial University has put a formal back-to-work protocol in place following the deal reached Friday with its faculty.
MUNFA members have yet to ratify the agreement but they are back on the payroll as of today and can access their offices immediately. Classes resume Wednesday.
The term will no be extended as Memorial feels it can finish the semester as scheduled.
Members on sabbatical during the strike will be given the option of either receiving the salary they would have received during the strike, or one semester of service toward their next sabbatical.
