The Department of Health and Community Services says there is no requirement for people who have received a COVID booster since last fall to receive another one at this time.
The department states that those who have received a booster since September 21 do not need an additional booster at this time—even if it has been 20 weeks or more since their fall shot.
Those who have not received a booster since that time are still encouraged to do so.
As well, children who have not yet received a fall booster, and whose last vaccine was at least 20 weeks ago, can get the bivalent booster through their regional health authority.
They say no additional booster recommendations are being made for 2023 at this time.
