Two impaired drivers were arrested Wednesday following separate single-vehicle accidents on the west coast and the Burin Peninsula.
The first incident happened shortly before 1 p.m. when RCMP were called to a crash on Grandview Boulevard in Grand Bank.
The driver of the vehicle, a 54-year-old woman, showed signs of impairment and her breath samples were above the legal limit.
Less than two hours later, police in Flat Bay were called to a single vehicle crash. The 25-year-old driver was found to have almost twice the legal limit in his system.
Meanwhile, a third impaired driver was arrested just before 5 p.m. that day in Placentia. In this case there was no crash, but police say the 30-year-old man did drive to a home before causing a disturbance there.
All three drivers had their licenses suspended and are facing charges of impaired.
