For the first time since before the pandemic, the winter carnival is back in Corner Brook.
The last time the city was able to hold the event was in January 2020, about two months before the entire world was virtually shut down.
Corner Brook Winter Carnival President Dawn King says it is an exciting time to have the event back, and it was missed over the last few years.
She says the winters can be rough, and the carnival is a way for families to get out and have solme fun. She says carnival spirit is still alive and their tickets have been selling well.
The Winter Carnival officially begins in the west coast city tonight.
